Hanchu CESS-HY-30K 30kW Three-Phase Commercial Hybrid Inverter
The Hanchu CESS-HY-30K is a high-performance 30kW three-phase hybrid inverter developed for commercial, agricultural and industrial solar-energy storage systems. It combines solar generation, high-voltage battery storage and grid electricity to provide reliable power, reduce grid consumption and maintain essential loads during electricity interruptions.
The inverter delivers 30kW rated three-phase output on both the grid and backup sides. Maximum grid-side apparent output is 33kVA, while the backup output can reach 36kVA for up to 60 seconds to accommodate temporary starting loads. It supports standard 220/380V, 230/400V and 240/415V three-phase electrical systems.
The CESS-HY-30K supports up to 40.5kW of connected solar-panel capacity. Four independent MPPT trackers—with two DC inputs per MPPT—allow up to eight PV strings to be connected. This makes it easier to accommodate panels installed across different roof orientations or areas experiencing different shading conditions.
Each MPPT supports up to 30A input current and 40A short-circuit current. The broad 200–850V MPPT operating range provides flexibility when designing larger commercial PV strings, while the 1,000V maximum withstand voltage suits high-voltage commercial solar arrays.
The inverter works with compatible high-voltage lithium batteries incorporating a battery-management system. Its 135–750V battery operating range and maximum 100A charging and discharging current allow it to support substantial commercial battery banks.
Grid-connected and off-grid operating modes are supported, with a switching time of less than 20 milliseconds. It also supports 100% unbalanced three-phase output, allowing each phase to supply different load levels without requiring perfectly balanced consumption.
Hanchu iESS Cloud integration provides real-time system monitoring, remote scheduling, historical performance analysis and OTA software updates. Multiple compatible inverters can also be operated in parallel when a project requires greater output capacity.
Integrated protection includes DC and battery reverse-polarity protection, insulation resistance monitoring, AC and DC surge protection, residual-current protection, anti-islanding, overtemperature protection, AC overvoltage protection, overload protection and short-circuit protection.
The IP65 enclosure, smart fan cooling and operating range from -30°C to 60°C make the inverter suitable for demanding commercial environments. The manufacturer’s datasheet specifies a 10-year warranty, subject to Hanchu’s registration requirements, installation standards and warranty conditions.
Commercial installation must be completed by qualified electrical and solar contractors. Site engineering, compliant protection equipment, municipal approval, SSEG registration and an approved grid meter may be required.
